A catalogue of errors by the accounts team has left us without our deposit for 6 months and STILL not resolved. We have never received an apology and we have to do all the chasing. They promise to call back but rarely do and when speaking on the phone there is a lot of sighing, excuses, changes to the explanation and lack of interest. We are over £750 out of pocket because of their errors. On the other hand the agent in the burton branch was professional and friendly but sadly rather too ambitious about the rental we could achieve, we were persuaded to try a higher price but had to wait longer than we should to have the price reduced to a more realistic level. It seems they show a great deal more interest when a fee is being sought than when things go wrong.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Just shown some professionalism or genuine interest when trying to resolve issues arising from their own mistakes. We realise that mistakes sometimes happen, but a company is judged on the way that these problems are handled. In this case it was poor.
