Based on past favourable knowledge and experience my wife and I placed our house on the market with another Estate Agent in spring 2011. We had a steady flow of viewings for months but had to wait until the spring of 2012 before we accepted an offer. Everything seemed to be going well with a completion date aimed for the end of June. Within a day or two of completion of exchange of contract the buyers withdrew without explanation. We now have a new buyer, exchange of contracts signed and sealed with a completion date of 5th April 2013. Our Agent has been great throughout so we remained loyal. As an aid to sell we always insisted we would rent if we could not find a permanent home in time and this is exactly how things have worked out. Having said all of the above where does Bradleys fit in. Initially, I think it was Jodi Thomas who first contacted us when she noted that we were struggling to sell and offered Bradleys services if we felt a change of Agent might help. I appreciated her very polite call but felt duty bound not to change. However we did ask Jodi to send e-mail details of properties, mainly bungalows, that fitted our criteria which she duly did over many months. I did try to find time to reply to the e-mails saying what we liked or didn\'t like about the property. After a polite period of time Jodi would telephone saying that she was sorry that we had not sold and offered to act as our Agent. We came close to agreeing on one occasion in 2012 but as our Agent will have eaten well into profits from our sale on advertising etc. we said we will definitely remain loyal to the end. When our latest buyers came along we had to prioritise our search for a suitable property to rent and again Bradleys furnished us properties to consider. Well, we have in the last few weeks, found a nice property to rent and a bungalow to buy but through other Agents. We are a little saddened that Bradleys didn\'t have either of these properties on their books for we had built up a pleasant rapport with Jodi and Kai. Apart from our Agents, Bradleys were the only other Agents who maintained non-pressurised contact with us for nearly two years. Jodi in particular has always been charming, polite and willing to listen to our housing requirements and remained loyal to us Jodi is an asset to Bradleys. Thank you Jodi.
