This property was in such a bad state me an my husband to cancel our tenancy at greenslade road right away,
Due to several flaws with the flat, heating lack ( 1 radiator in the whole flat), single glazed flat so it was freezing when we complained on the first night we where told to us an electric heater provided that was hidden in the wardrobe in the bed room, bathroom / toilet facilities so dirty no shower provided, kitchen units filled with damp and mold in every cup board, damp in the sealing and also the strong overpowering smell of Cannabis smoke and cigarette . all of this flaws had been figured out on the same day we moved in on the Saturday evening. My husband bless him stayed up till 2am trying to clean an spray the the flat. only to find all off our bed cover an pillow all smell of this cannabis. To make matters worse the electric went out in the flat so we we in darkness from 10.15pm at night.we then decided that is flat was not for us and moved our thing home in a cab.
monday morning was when we spoke to Jason the agent ask for all our monies back,
Jason rudely sad to my husband "Look what did i say to you" you only get back your deposit money". Jason did not even give my husband or me contracts or tenancy agreements, and he expects us to know of head what the terms are.
Finally after this whole 2 days disaster we did not get our full monies back only 1,662 pounds after we had had paid Two thousand and Fifty pounds. It also took them 8 days of which we did not chase up they would had not paid us back till 11 days later. To make matter s worse speaking to the branch manager Jorden Hagger I was so upset he said that as a company they have done nothing wrong, he was so rude to me and my husband.
Please if you want to be treated well don\'t go there. kevin is the only staff member who seems to know something how to treat paying customer with respect.
