I was a tenant in a flat through KIS lettings for little over 1year and i regret it!
At first they were professional friendly and got things moving so i could move in quickly - great.
Soon after i moved in, i noticed the heating system in the flat was rubbish and was not warming the flat at all!
After numerous phone calls to the estate agents i FINALLY got them to get someone to have a look - he didnt have a clue, still not satisfied i rang back again - i have a small child and i thought the least they could do was sort it out professionally. 2weeks later another man came and said the heating sysyem was insufficient and needed changed. - Nothing was done!
Then the cooker broke took weeks to sort again!
I then decided they didnt care in the slightest and gave my 4weeks notice - they tried to say i had only given 1 weeks notice and needed to pay 500 in rental arrears!!
I asked to speak to the manager and the "owner" came to the phone with an appauling telephone manner - he was rude abrupt and cheeky! All in all they are out for all the money they can get from you and dont care for your needs. i would NOT recommend to anyone and those who do - keep your whits about what you owe etc! Lets hope this dont happen to anyone else and it was a one off.
