£700. That is the lovely figure we got taken from our security deposit for outrageous examples like a stain in a towel £25 (we never used it cause i literally thought it was used as a mop as it was disgusting), a missing coffee spoon (counted them before we left so that was again incorrect) £10, no inventory report when moving in so no way you can prove they are wrong, broken heating counter so we got charged £500 for using a heater that was barely on because we were stupidly conscious about spending! This one was such a major issue that all the tenants in the building got together to discuss VERY different contracts with different heating prices! So these estate agents are extremely shade and they will literally take your deposit from you and they will actively fight you for it in court, which is a lengthy, chase up process...they should be reported by anyone that has such problems with them because i am sure most of what they are doing to tenants is illegal.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Reassess our case and return the unfair amount taken from us. Not only costs were unrealistic AND most inexistent but you have been the most unprofessional and untrustworthy business that we have ever come across in our lives and you should be taken to a proper court to close down the business for all illegal actions you have taken on clients who thought where finding a home with you.
