we had arranged to move in to a new property with Hamptons, everything was going fine. the last minute the current tenants of the property we had hoped to move in to fell through, it happens. how ever at that point baring in mind we had signed the tenancy agreement, also considering we had given our notice on our current property. The landlord/ Hamptons should have been liable to sort us out accommodation in that situation. Hamptons came back with a statement saying, they had signed but not dated the contract and therefore were not obligated to help at all as in because they didn't date the document, the contract meant nothing and we were essentially on our own. this is the shadiest thing ive ever witnessed. during that phase, where you have given notice and signed new contract, its imperative you are protected by the tenancy contract for situations just like this. if you are going to do business with Hamptons, double check everything. we had a week to find a new property, we ended dup somewhere far less than ideal. I would sincerely recommend not doing business with Hamptons
