I recently arranged to view a property in Salford (I\'m not sure why they cover this area). I spoke to Lauren and we arranged a viewing for a few days later as we couldn\'t view it until 5pm due to work. Lauren was very helpful with this matter and stated that although the agents usually finish at 5pm they do stay a little later if needed.
The day of the viewing arrived and my partner and I both took time off of work to view the property. I had called in the morning (before 12pm) and was told by Lauren that she \'thought\' the viewing was still going ahead but that she would call me back. 16:10 approached and I STILL hadn\'t received a call from anyone at Warnfield Hewitt, so I called them again. Lauren informed me that she would \'call their guy\' and see if he was still OK to do the viewing and she would call me in 10 minutes ...which never happened. We took this lack of information to assume that the viewing wasn\'t going ahead and that the agency couldn\'t even be bothered to communicate with prospective tenants. We will now avoid this company altogether, in my opinion if they fall at the first hurdle, I dread to think what the are like once you rent via them!
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agents should communicate with all clients (prospective or not) and actually do what they state they will.
