Sears at Wokingham offer an impeccable service based on integrity, efficiency, & transparency as well as being customer centric.
We approached Oliver at Sears after being extremely disillusioned by an online estate agency that was the antithesis of Sears and a nightmare to deal with when selling our previous home.
This online company had little or no integrity and their operation was a catalogue of errors and misinformation. We had to rewrite the advert as it was incorrect, they misled possible buyers, the photos were taken on a phone with little concern about presentation, and the agent had never seen the house before and turned up unkempt as we paid extra for them to escort buyers viewing the property.
We were so disturbed by their lack of honesty & commitment that we terminated their input and tried to get legal redress. It seemed that once you joined and paid, they did not care. We lost huge sums of money as they prevented other purchasers viewing, claiming our property was under offer even though the purchasers had told the agent that they could not confirm that they had the funds as they had a CCJ in place. The agent of this online company had told them to lie. We had a letter from the purchaser’s solicitor to that effect ending 10 months of an aggressive, rude and dishonest agent!
The process of and buying and selling is a stressful time. To date all at Sears, Oliver, Tim and Kelly have worked as a team to support and administer on behalf of ourselves, and the buyers.
To wonderful Oliver, who promoted the sale by his exceptional marketing of the property using professional photographers and his staff and those behind the scenes who have made “the journey” a breeze, we thank you for all your endeavours in expediting the matter. This was completely stress-free sale
I failed to mention that we’d wanted to complete asap, i.e., 4/6 weeks due to circumstances & health.
At each step, Oliver negotiated on the behalf of the vendor & ourselves and would respond within minutes /24 hours, bringing the matter to a mutual satisfaction with due diligence. This level of service is reflected by each team member and is unique to the industry. Oliver and his staff are a credit to the organisation and excellent ambassadors.
Sears are a Beacon status company and their good practice should be shared & set industry wide standards.
