I had a very similar experience to Seb in that on-boarding was a dream but checking out was a nightmare. Their ‘revolutionary’ (their word not mine) check out system was awful and far from revolutionary – it was 2 weeks from the end of my tenancy for the system to start the process. In the end I had to deal with them direct and not use the system. I was told by the agency that they would have to get the property cleaned but acknowledged that there was ‘not much to do’. They then tried to charge me £460 for cleaning plus another £100 for 3 light bulbs and a few dead pot plants (that have never been replaced).
In addition they gave me less than 24 hours notice of a viewing, turned up early when I was not in and entered the property without authorisation or agreement. They would not expect that this was wrong or accept any responsibility.
I would not use them again.
