Was looking for a first time property for myself and my other half which would later be let to others by my brother who was going in with me on the purchase.....after requesting a viewing....and specifically stating to be contacted via email as i was not allowed to take personal calls at work, a week and a half later i recieved a call i couldnt take and an email stating "I have tried to contact you we need your information to go further" i asked "is it possible to do this via email?" no real answer then another week later i got a reply with just questions she wanted the answer to....i replied and she sent me other properties well out of my budget....i asked politely if i could please view the original property and have still had no reply so on his day for a late start i asked my dad if he could ring up just to book a viewing....he was then informed that the house has actually been under offer for a while but the owners are looking for a higher bidder.....and that because of the style.....it had to be a 60% deposit......if i had been told this from the start i wouldnt have wasted my time or given out any details, even the email responses i recieved seemed careless and rude. Will not be trying to purchase through chancellors again i would not recommend them to anyone
What agent could do to change your mind?
could have been straight about the property from the start, what a total moose
