The agents made very effort to sell my property despite subsidence beingdiscovered just before exchange of contracts. They suggested that I rented the property to the potential purchaser who needed somewhere to live temporarily. That gave me some income and kept the purchaser engaged in the property. They also managed the rental arrangements for me. In the event the purchaser did decide to complete once the subsidence had been been indentified and the insurance company had agreed to deal with it. So overall it was a very long process which was patiently and carefully handled.
