We did not receive any sort of customer one the 350 pound fee was paid and we were lied to about the lease itself. We forked over the 6k to move in and pay 6 months up front told by Daniel who works there not a problem after 6 months we can move to a month by month renting policy after 4 months living there they wanted another 6 months rent when we explained what we were told we got a too bad and good bye. Once we moved in we never heard from them again didn\'t matter the scenario outstanding bills going to collection from previous tenants no reply back, things not working in the unit no reply back, the only reply we got is when I said we were disappointed with the service and moving out at the end of our agreement they thanked us and said they would rent it quickly. DO NOT USE THIS LETTING AGENCY!! LET DOWN AFTER LET DOWN!!

Thank you for your review and sorry to read that you are not happy with our service. it is difficult to respond and deal wtih any issues if you do not provide your details. Harringtons Lettings have been operating the same procedure for 20 years and ask all tenants to provide a UK Homer Owner Guarantor to Guarantee the rent as security for landlords. Tenants who cannot provide a guarantor are given the option of paying the rent for the term in advance. We do not use periodic contracts and instead always use fixed term tenancies and this is something we advise all tenants. After 4 months of your tenancy you would have been asked to pay another six months rent in advance or provide a UK Homer Owner Guarantor as security for the next term if you wanted to renew. Again, this is standard practice and is designed to protect landlords from rent arrears. If you were unwilling to do one of these options then we would not have been able to renew your tenancy. If you were receiving bills relating to previous tenancies, we would have been happy to deal wtih these for you had you informed us of this and the same with regards to maintenance issues. if you woudllike to discuss this matter directly with us we will be happy to deal with any issuesthat you have.
