It is safe to say that I haven\'t experienced customer service as good as what I received from Black Katz since I left the States 2 years ago. You would think that with a budget of 2k PCM it would be easy to find a place in the city that allowed a dog. Every agent up until that point had lied to me saying that their property allowed pets only to be told on arrival to the flat that they were not allowed. This happened over seven times.
I walked into their office on a Tuesday completely defeated and discouraged having spent the last two months looking at one awful flat after another and by that Wednesday I had leased the perfect flat. I went into Black Katz expecting more of the same lousy service but what I got was the complete opposite. I was assigned Michael just by chance and from that point on my luck had changed for the better. Not only was there the issue with the dog but there was the possibility I could have been stuck with my old lease for another two months. I told Michael all this and he was very straight forward with me that my odds weren't great of finding a place but he would see what he could do. He set up an appointment with me the next day to see the one place that ticked all of the boxes and sure enough the place was perfect, I took it that night. When we got back to the office I told Michaels manager Alex about my concern of my current lease and the high probability that I could lose the deposit on the new place. Having good business sense Alex put it in writing that if I couldn't get out of the current lease because of the reasons I stated he would refund my money. Shortly after that I found out I was free of my lease and able to take the new place. Not having the sense to measure beds and make note of closet space on the first visit I called BK to see if they would let me into the new place again. Michael took time out of his day and drove me over so I could take care of what I needed to get done. On that trip I mentioned that the cleaners the previous tenants had hired didn't do that great of a job. Michael took it upon himself to go over the day before I was supposed to move in and cleaned it again himself. After I had agreed to take the place they passed me over to Michelle to take care of the paperwork. This was a quick and painless process as Michelle took care of everything. Everything was done on the day she said it would be done and done correctly.
So to summarize all of this: Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and at no point did I feel pressured or lied to. Alex put my mind at ease. After he suggested that he put everything in writing I was never worried, I felt that I could trust these guys. Michelle made the tedious paperwork seem easy and painless again I felt like I was being take care of.
I cannot say enough good things about these individuals at Black Katz and I hope everyone has as good of an experience that I have had.
