We purchased a house through Chilterns at the brandon office. The vendor was a little crazy and thought she was famous (has made a couple of cd's) but they did nothing to keep her under control. They advised her to put the house to auction even when we had exchanged contracts, which she did!
When we moved in we had to first move 12 full size skips of rubbish out when they had ensured us they would check to make sure it was clear. They also never requested the keys for the house, so with removal van on site we had to break in to our own house!!
They did nothing to help other than stand and watch. When we threatened to sue the vendor regarding her breaches of contract, the big greek boss ran a mile, we did get an out of court settlement without any help from them.
It was the experience from hell, just don't get involved with them. Not to be trusted!!
