I would thoroughly recommend Malcolm James as an agent to buy or sell my properties with. I bought an old wreck and Jane was excellent in communicating throughout the process. They were so helpful in recommending tradesmen to assist in the refurb and then they re-sold it very quickly at a price just over what Malcolm predicted. So i made a good profit and have now bought another project through another agent, but will definately be using Malcolm James to sell it!

Holding deposit of one third of a months rent was deemed none refundable as it was used for credit references. No heating nor hot water in the property from day one and took over two months to repair. Main deposit not secured with the DPS ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
A Gas Safety Certificate wasn't issued. No heating nor hot water was available for weeks and I had to complain on a daily basis. Over two Winter months. Malcolm James Letting couldn't care a jot about service.

Beware holding fees, they aren't taken off your first months rent nor deposit but are retained by Malcolm James as 'costs' for a credit check. In my case ‚£156
