My son PJ and I instructed 7 London agents 4 weeks ago to market this apartment for short term let. Of all the agents we met initially, Andrew Griffiths, impressed us most due to his general demeanour and helpful attitude.

Of the 7 agents all arranged viewings but only 4 produced offers. The best offers were we\'re from Foxtons and MyLondonHome. The best clients - single professional people who worked for companies, were also from these two agents. Of the two MyLondonHome produced higher offers.

Adam Anker introduced excellent applicants. There was a wonderful potential applicant who was a professional person, who nearly took our flat at a very good rate of rent.But unfortunately for no fault of the letting agent, Mr.Anker, that deal fell through. Undaunted and optimistically Mr.Anker continued to market our apartment and within the following week after the initial disappointment, producer another corporate client, albeit at a lower weekly rent offer, which was nevertheless higher than any other offer we had. Mr. Anker tied down the negotiations fairly quickly although there were some anxious moments.

Ours was a fully furnished apartment. We think the successful rental in the end was partly also because w were prepared to be flexible when the present client wanted a \'partly furnished\' apartment and we were able to remove much of the furnishings. We also readily agreed to replace some of the white goods that was not working at the optimum level. We believe that the flexibility on our part and our readiness to give the best possible premises to a tenant, was also an important factor in this successful outcome.

Lisa Yashimotto, then took over the process as the service manager. We have to say that Ms. Yashimotto is a exceptionally capable and efficient person who crossed the Ts and dotted the Is. The special requirements of the tenant in cleaning and checking of equipments was carried out with zeal and diligence by Ms. Yashimotto. She oversaw the moving in process meticulously.

However in the first stages of sealing the deal on this rental, there was an particular point when at a late stage a bad reference from the previous Landlord was discovered. It then looked as if this process would come to a sudden stop. That it when Mr. Steven Herd\'s superb higher managerial skills became evident. He personally checked put the reference wit every part involved and uncovered a malicious element in it and uncovered the true reasons for the bad reference being given earlier.

All in all we found this experience a good one and everyone we dealt with in this firm dealt with our needs in a caring and professional way. For these reasons we gave a Full Management role in managing this apartment rental them.
