it was "simply" a nightmare. they are promising you a lot of things and after you discover that are not telling the truth.
they are absolutely for landlord only, not taking care about your needs and your rights... only landlord and again Landlord needs.
first thing they ask you to pay, even if they do not have contract signed from landlord.
i was renting a flat, i signed the contract, i received the invoice from foxtons agent ( that was always nice and friendly).
Following the rental contract i was sending the money to foxtons bank account.
one day later the foxton agent called me saying that landlord was not going to sign the contract because he wonted to increase the rental of 10%.
I was furious, but i accepted, anyway this was not enough as landlord was not signing the contract and i was in a hurry to find a new flat.... so after two days of phone calls, lots of lost time and lots of patience, i decided i had to find an other flat without foxtons.
Pay attention to foxtons! they are not professional, not serious and not correct.
