We used Richard Worth to sell our property and they were the agents for the property that we bought as well.
Overall the service from Richard Worth was average, Steve Jones was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and we found his approach honest and he kept us informed from the point that he became involved in the process.
Unfortunately some of his sales team were not so good. After having our offer accepted on our intended purchase we were told that Richard Worth would do everything in their power to ensure we held on to the property, this was nice to hear. Unfortunately approximately 1-2 weeks later we opened the property paper to find that our intended purchase was Richard Worth property of the week. When we questioned Richard Worth about this we were told that the seller of the property had requested this be done. This wouldn\'t have been a problem if Richard Worth had just told us rather than opening the paper and finding our intended purchase being advertised in such a way. We had requested to be kept informed of all developments from the start.
When negotiations arose on the property that we were selling we reduced the price to secure the sale. However the sales negotiator from Richard Worth was very aggresive stating that the buyers didn\'t have much money and they didn\'t drive around in a sixty grand car, and have to cycle to work, the relevance of this I still can\'t understand to this day. I did point out if they really can\'t afford our asking price then perhaps they should buy another property.
Finally we have been asked to complete feedback on this site by Richard Worth. In the email making this request they have got the house number of the property we sold wrong and the name of the street that we bought our new property on has been spelt in-correctly. With such poor attention to detail I\'m just grateful that Richard Worth were not involved in the transfer of funds for the properties.
If we had to go through the experience again we would request that we deal with Steve Jones and only Steve.
