I am saddened and genuinely surprised by these negative reviews. I am a local landlord whose sole aim is to keep my property in an excellent state of repair and to keep my tenants happy - they stay longer this way which is obviously good for both parties. I have had experience of many local managing agents and I can honestly say that the team for Ellmans are the most professional, efficient and friendly I have come across, hence my surprise at some of the reviews here. The owner, Clive, has endless experience and goes out of his way to always provide sensible, lawful and helpful information and advice, he is also the most approachable of men, friendly and generous with his time. Of course sometimes things go wrong, as must have been the case with a number of the reviewers, but in over ten years Ellmans have worked tirelessly to make sure that my flats are kept to a high standard and my tenants are kept happy.

Hi there, we paid Ellmans £9,918.29 in Feb 2021 this year, alongside payments every month of each year (we have been here for 20 years now) of £92 per month, and just over £230 every 6 months, we repeatedly asked where was the reserve fund for this though - to pay it this way - Ellmans said there wasn't a reserve fund they hadn't wanted to increase our maintenance payments as they thought we wouldn't like this. they wanted just under 10K from every flat in our block to pay for maintenance an ...
