The worst part of selling a property is that initial contact with a wide variety of estate agents to ascertain their service and suggested property valuation. This is the moment where you have to find one that inspires confidence, not only by understanding the local property market, and suggesting a suitable marketing strategy but also one that demonstrates empathy to the situation that you find yourself in.
As a Power of Attorney, I was selling my mother's bungalow. The various lockdowns had proved difficult for her, and at the age of 97, I finally had to place her into a care home, which was nearer to where I live, some distance away from Worthing.
From the first moment of meeting Wayne, I was impressed with his no-nonsense, plain English-speaking, and professional but also friendly manner. He demonstrated conviction throughout. It might be deemed as an 'old school' approach, but it typified the type of estate agent that I have always instructed. I now knew that this property would be sold easily.
Backed up by Chris in the office, the pair made a great team mutually supporting one another, so it did not matter who you contacted. This was especially useful during the Covid restrictions. The viewings were handled well and in fact a buyer was found within days.
Throughout the process, my wife and I took great comfort in knowing that we had instructed Bacon & Co.
I thoroughly recommend them to you. They were superb!
