AWFUL EXPERIENCE -
Where do I start, we were initially enticed to put our property on for sale by the charming owner after 3 valuations, who promised us that they would get the house sold easily for more than the other 2 agents. We were completely suckered in and agreed to go on at the price recommended by them. Amazingly, despite their promises, our house was on the market with them for months and they only got 3/4 viewings and 1 ridiculously low offer (so much for \'selling easily\')!
We took ages to spring clean the house and make it look lovely for viewings, but they had not checked out the people and it was obvious they were not serious so it was a complete waste of time!
After 3 months, the office manager called us to say that they felt the house would not sell at that price. They demanded that we drop the price, so we did as by then we had seen a place we wanted to move to, and they still couldn\'t get a decent offer. I couldn\'t believe it when a few weeks later they then told me that we needed to reduce the price to sell (after having completely forgotten that we had done so once already - they were clueless!), to a lower amount than both the other 2 agents has said months ago! They knew they had completely lied to us at the start about the price and didn\'t even seem bothered!
Sellers need to be aware of this cavalier attitude and broken promises. We received very poor service and lost out on our dream property because they advised us badly originally. They promised they could sell our property easily, but they couldn\'t even get a half-decent offer. Their service is unprofessional and they just wanted to get people on their books.
