I am trying to sell my four bed, beautifully positioned, in catchment for five schools yes FIVE very high quality schools, great garden, easy access to motorway, public transport, shops all near by, one even less than two minutes walk.
Had trouble the moment we started viewings.
Firstly *ropes you in gives you a way over high value to get you to sign on.
Then he drops your house to a other person in our case ** . ** came out to do the viewings knowing NOTHING about the house at all, I had to explain everything again, then bundling our two large dogs into a car in subzero temps we went to get a coffee asking charles one simple thing, to call us when he was done.
After the last viewing was supposed to have finished no call, we made our way back home to find the lights all on and no **, checking cctv found he had left half hour early.... no call, after taking half hour to clean up, turn lights off and warm up I check cctv more and find he left people unattended to just wander.... with all our valuables.... unattended which is something we expressly asked not to happen.
I called he said he would ring me in the morning to say what happened.
No call, late after noon I call get several piss poor offers, one stunner and another 10k less.
I wanted to obviously go with the big boy offer but was told the 10k less one was cash which would mean quick sale, I wanted out and said fine a 10k loss would suck but they really pushed that the other offer wouldnt probably go through anyway.
So I find a house I like and like a idiot ask them to act as our representation to buy it for us....oh boy.
The offer falls through.....turns out it wasnt cash, they didnt want to pay the interest on the morthgage for a house made of concrete block.... something * hadnt told them and apparently knew nothing about, which was odd since he said he had sold numerous houses in this area and the entire area is concrete block save for 7 hours which are council..... weird its like he lied about his selling here.
Also one of the lures for Taylors had been them supposedly checking all offers to see if they could complete without issue I have seen NO sign of this at all.
So second offer, turns out when accepting my crappy first offer they had messages from another buyer offering 10k more which they never told me about till the first fell through.... not impressed.
This is another mortgage offer but they got mortgage accepted and I thought yay and packed ready to go.
Now the buyer is getting arssy, demanding more viewings despite covid and my personal health, Karl is getting nasty blackmailing me saying they will pull out if they dont get their way, as the wife had apparently not seen the house.
Not seen the house but they had put in a offer wasted months of my time getting it to this point only to claim they would drop out if I didnt let them view again.
I told them I am mid packing, house is a state with that, that my health is at risk but nope forget me I better do as I am told by the men or else, it was condesending, blackmail, rude and since the buyers had been poking their head in my windows, helping themselves into my garden and going to my neighbours I have had it, I was so fed up with Karls BS and expecting me to jump when told I let them have it that if this offer falls through I will be firing the whole lot for wasting four months of my life on unchecked bs offers.

I used Taylors as I had a really positive experience when buying through them. This was a big mistake. The valuation was over £20,000 too high (which conveniently meant that I payed a higher rate). I must have spent a total of around 40 hours attempting to ...

General professional courtesy would be nice when dealing with people who would be earning you commission.
