EA2 is the worst Wapping agent - AVOID
My flatmate and I rented 14 China Court in September via EA2 and regretted the decision since moving in. EA2 Agency has failed to (1) do a proper job inspecting the property for fit before renting it out and (2) abide by the tenancy agreement in which the clean conditions weren't fulfilled as promised.
We have lived here for a few months and yet, just got the dishwasher yesterday (January). The mirrors in the room are cracked. The sink had a hole that took 3 months to be fixed after many requests. My bathroom floor tiles are coming off (they move when I step on the floor) and I fear for my safety. The water has leaked once from the broken tiles down to the dining area below. It's all extremely stressful during the lockdown, too.
The person who did the investory walk-through said that the cleaning job was subpar, and the personnel from the development (430 Quay) said that the flat should have been inspected before putting it back on the market, so we're not just being unreasonable.
Clearly, they were greedy and hurried to rent out the space when the market was not doing well. Samantha Collins visited the property months after we moved in and seeing the conditions, stated that the rent was cheap anyway (it was not, it was in line with 10% market decline at the time).
We have so far received little support and are given a patronising treatment. Everytime we want something fixed, tenants have to kow tow. I'd avoid. From our kind neighbours, we also heard that previous tenants had trouble getting their broken boiler fixed for months.
I am happy to speak to press or anyone who have more questions.
