Tenant Scale of Fees
Holding Deposit: 1 weeks rent. Non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with the Tenancy or if you fail to provide the information required for referencing within 15 days.
Deposit: 5 weeks rent.
Rent: Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above Bank of England base rate from the date due. Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy.
Change of Tenancy: Payment of a charge equal to half of one months rent to make a change to your Tenancy agreement, subject to the Landlords approval.
Keys: Payment for the reasonably incurred cost for the loss of keys, security devices or car parking permits.
Pets: Payment of 5 pounds per week per pet, subject to the Landlords approval.
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
Although we were no longer marketing the house, an applicant who had viewed before you submitted an offer 8 days (not 3 weeks) after the sale was agreed. By UK law, we are duty bound to report all offers received (up until exchange of contracts) to our Client the home owner. In this instance the home owner decided to accept and proceed with the other offer.
Whilst we empathise with your disappointment, on this occasion the situation was out of our control.
