We agreed on a sale at asking price with Cromwells Wallignton. Despite the fact that their agents failed to show up on viewings, we were harassed by the members of their team to arrange valuation within 5 working days, which we did! We ended up paying 3k to go through bank fees, valuation and searches and established that we were guzumped at that stage.
I made several inquires with the Amanda and her team but never received a single call in 2 weeks. I went physically at the facility and was promised resolution of the issue but after wasting my time, money and efforts, Amanda advised that she won't help me as according to her: our sincerity lies with the vendor as he's the one paying us, not you! you have not paid us money so we simply can't help you. I inquired what was their moral obligation and she suggested that she wouldn't waste her time on chasing up the vendor as she had other things to sort out.
BUYERS PLEASE AVOID THESE CROMWELLS WALLINGTON AT ALL COSTS!

I called your colleagues 20 times during the last 2 weeks and every time I was advised that you were aware of the case and would call me back within a short space of time. It's time for reflection for your and your colleagues as you can't deny that none of you bothered to even call me back once. Rather you advised me that your loyalty was with the vendor!
Furthermore, I only exchange the contact details with the vendor following agreement of the sale, which I thought was entirely reasonable and was consistent with your advise. If your agents were not present at the time of viewing the property despite my requests, how was I able to further communicate with the vendor about practicalities of our move?
Finally, what were your negotiations with the vendor in terms of allowing me opportunity to match the higher offer? Did you make an inquiry what that offer was and how that could be matched? I hope you appreciate there are certain etiquettes and working ethos that you and your colleagues must follow when dealing with your buyers rather than informing that you owe them nothing as the sellers would offer you the desired fees.
I believe my review is not only fair but rather polite under the circumstances.
