When giving notice on a property we had rented for 28 months, Richard Kendall\'s letting staff began calling us relentlessly to arrange for viewing at less-than-convenient times (bearing in mind we were in the process of a house move) to come and take "photos of the property for the website" which they already had and had posted on the property\'s ad. The phone calls persisted and my wife and I simply stopped answering these once the tone of the staff members there became rude and aggressive.

Following this, the agency failed to meet the terms of it\'s agreement with respect to the timescales of returning the deposit. Once a number of emails had been sent to threaten legal action, some modest claims were made against the deposit and the difference returned. Would the agency have tried to retain the deposit in it\'s entirety had we not threatened to escalate the matter to the Small Claims\' Court? Guess we\'ll never know..

In our experience, we would strongly recommend renting from any agency other than Richard Kendall. Without exception, describing the staff\'s attitude towards tenants (both existing and those terminating their leasehold agreements) as oikish would be fairly accurate.
