Arrogant, smarmy and rude.
In dealing with 2 maintenance issues they (after a 2 year let, the real the test of a property managers metal is in dealing with maintenance issues)
1- they lied to us and the landlord regarding the issue in question, why? due to their own outsourced contractor causing a leak. unfortunately they didn\'t realise our relationship with the landlord was good. (they never told him of the leak) month 4 now...still no new flooring in the kitchen, the landlord was told that new flooring had been put down. And the cause of the leak was a faulty washing machine hose NOT the slow water ingress from the chap who couldn\'t fit the old one back on properly...
2 - boiler issue - I do appreciate when a breakdown happens sometimes parts are ordered - we had no heat or hot water for 2 weeks - fine, it happens. - yet no offer of heaters etc was every given even after 3 e-mails and 2 phone calls (by which time being rude to us was the norm) until nearly week 3 - 2 days before the engineer was due to return.
On an amusing note - the landlord himself called to ascertain what was going on AND they thought he was the tenant (us) and where completely rude and dismissive to him!! Ha! Once they realised it was him! Well the faulse apologies began.
Also the deadline for all deposit schemes was November 13th - I have no information regards mine yet from these chaps... Has Anyone else??
