I have been living as a tenant for quite a few years and have changed four landlord/agencies.
Andrews Letting and Management are by far the worst that I have experienced with extremely low level of customer service. The lady that we have to deal with, responsible for our property was unprofessional and arrogant person. After every conversation with her I felt stressed and with the feeling that I would have done better to myself if I had not call her. She was never listening to what I was saying, speaking over me and always arguing.
There were numerous cases that Andrews Letting and Management failed to provide (maybe I should say) any service, but I will note the most prominent one here.
The apartment had a long history of leakage problems and early this year it got flooded twice. The floods were not due to our fault, but to failure of the drainage system of the block. The landlord and the agency did not took any immediate measures and we had to live in the damp place with growing black mould everywhere for a good few months. Eventually when the landlord got his insurance approved and decided to carry out the required works we wanted to leave at the end of the tenancy agreement, which was due in about a month. We gave our early notice and asked for delay of the repair works, consisting of changing of the flooring and decorating until we move out. The agency did not agree to delay the works few weeks and explained that if they do not carry the works at the time we have to pay for the whole repair. We had no choice and let the works begin. It took them two weeks to do everything, messing with all our belongings and we living half of the time in dust and mess. At the end we have to clean after them in order to return back to normal. Andrews did not propose any compensation and quite the opposite threatened us that if they do not carry out the works while we were still there we have to pay for them. I think this is a good example how they treat their tenants and their unprofessional behaviour.
We have moved now away and feels so nice and the peace of the mind not dealing with Andrews Letting and Management is sweet.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Andrews Letting and Management should provide some service to their clients to earn their fee. Get some customer service on board. Get rid of unprofessional staff that lower their image.listen to the clients.
