I am currently searching for property to rent. this agency seem to have th emost number of properties to rent in my desired location so i have been in regular contact with them. they have never informed of any property that was on the market under my search requirements despite having my contact details for 2 months. hence I have been contacting them (which i dont have time to do) every 2-3 times per week. i have come to dread the "morning call" to anthony garfield's agency office. in general they are so rude and have absolutley no concept of customer service, they do vary but none are good and "the friendly welcome" advertised on their website is just a joke. twice they have just hung up without offerring any help, they offer very little information the culture seems to be "get the client off the phone as quickly as possible" and if i dare to have a query it is nevery answered if so very rudely, twice i have finished the phone call and felt nearly driven to tears. given the reviews below and given the poor customer service already I think best AVOID!

Terrible agency, Please do not sign contracts with them, especially without a break clause. The staff are not helpful and will provide you with incorrect information. I dealt with Denise and Anthony (the director) who were very rude and not helpful....

AVOID. The worst agency I have ever dealt with in 12 years of renting. Never respond to calls for basic maintenance and then make up various false claims (with rude, accusatory emails) to try to claim the deposit back for non-existent issues when leaving the property. ...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS... They treat their customers with the utmost disrespect, repeatedly ignore calls and make false accusations. Not a nice set of people so I would recommend avoiding, even if it appears to be the perfect property....

What agent could do to change your mind?
Anthony is always rude and sarcastic and overly forceful in all his dealings with us. He never budges an inch or compromises, he just gets more and more rude until we are so upset by him we just have to do what he demands.
