It's one of the few times that I am writing a bad review in general, unfortunately I couldn't let this go as me and my partner felt not appreciated and mistreated as customers from one of your agents. We were ready to proceed with renting one flat in Colindale Gardens and before signing the contract we realised that the whole development has a no pets policy. The head lease for a whole development of thousands of flats in 2020 London will not allow pets to young professionals and families. Do you realise how ridiculous and discriminating this sounds? Of course I understand that this is not directly your fault as an agency, but you should inform people in advance as well as mentioning this in your ads. Specifically, the agent in charge, not only did not mention that there was a no pet policy but he tried to put the blame on us that we didn't say it from the beginning. We hardly ever had an issue renting a flat with a pet in London for the past 10yrs and even if there was a no pet policy we were kindly asking the landlord's permission and either making a better offer or offering a higher deposit. Chase Evans received an excellent reference from our current landlord about us as tenants and our dog. The flat he owns has a no pets allowed lease but ultimately it was his decision. We spent a considerable amount of time getting back with full details of the pet, references and even offered you a higher deposit for the landlord's peace of mind. We specifically asked you to speak to the landlord who is overseas to consider everything mentioned in our email but you didn't even cc us in the email and we didn't even get a response back until we chased for one! I guess we immediately were ''not good enough'' customers for you. Your representative's approach was so unprofessional. Not polite enough, didn't smile once and he didn't even try to keep us as customers at all, as, although he did mention that you have pet friendly properties in other areas, he never offered to help us find a pet-friendly flat or say ''Don't worry, I will help you find something else''. This has been the worst experience we've had as a couple seeking a new home and we will be constantly advising our friends and contacts to avoid doing business with Chase Evans.
