We took over the management of the rental property in February 2019, from another agency who are no longer in business. We addressed all issues on why you were initially holding rent back by September 2019. All repairs you highlighted during your tenancy with us were attended to within the appropriate timescales and fully repaired with the exception of an insurance job which you requested by email that we put the job on hold until you had moved out of the property. However you continued to not pay any rent for 8 months therefore the First Tier Tribunal judge granted an eviction and order for rent payment with their reasoning stating ‘the Applicant has established that the Respondents are in rent arrears. The Respondents are in breach of their obligation under the relevant lease. The Ground for eviction under Ground 12 (2) of schedule 3 to the 2016 Act is established. This is a mandatory ground. The Applicant is entitled to vacant possession of the Property.’
