I have had the misfortune of dealing with these jokers on two occasions and the experience was terrible both times. First time was when attempting to sell a property through them. They did the bare minimum for the agreed fees and after a year of little to action and communication we parted ways, successfully selling the property with Cumbrian Properties who were excellent in comparison.

The second dealing with PF&K was through a short tenancy let. The property was bereft with problems and was let to us in a terrible state - infested with vermin; leaking roof and windows; mould and wood rot throughout. On top of this we had no access to our post for a month and a half due to the friendly neighbours having hold of the key to our post box! The said friendly neighbour would let himself onto the property and on one occasion even into the property uninvited and without the necessary notice period as per our contract. He was clearly being instructed by the landlord to keep an eye out while they were sunning themselves in foreign lands. When notified PF&K did nothing about this. The periodic inspections from PF&K's Mandy amounted to nothing more than a check on whether we had trashed the place. There was no safety check of meters (smoke, CO, electric) nothing. During one very cold spell the boiler packed in and their general apathy left us without heating or hot water for a week. When we vacated the property having served the notice period and fully paid in rent throughout the tenancy, PF&K attempted to keep our entire deposit quoting various and spurious issues for the reason. Thankfully we had photographic evidence of the state of the property that i had captured when we first moved in, including every single rodent that we captured in humane traps. Amazingly the inventory booklet and PF&K's photos therein clearly showed that we had left the property in a better state than it was before we arrived. Dealing with the likes of Lyn et al left a lot to be desired and our large deposit was finally reimbursed in full. Please do yourself a favour, and never ever deal with this company. The quality of the properties they let for the money that is charged is a disgrace. They will more than likely do nothing when selling your property, but be happy to take your money. They are dreadful to deal with (rude and arrogant) either by phone, in person or via email, as other reviews on here would indicate.
