Hunters Collier Row are easily the worst letting agents in the business. Disorganised, rude (including one of the managers, Vik) and happy to let you live somewhere with the roof falling in, claiming that it is habitable. The state of the roof was so bad that the tenants in the flat below had a leak in their flat as well. No action was taken by Hunters until we threatened to withhold rent.
From the very start they were awful. They contacted us the day before moving in to sort everything out because they had forgotten. The man doing the inventory was also only told the day before which, understandably, put him in a bad mood. When the boiler broke the mechanic due to fix it lived so far away that he spoke to me over the phone, and his English was so poor that we had to have several conversations before it was fixed.
One of the fire alarms in the communal area also broke which set off all of the fire alarms in the building. The advice I was given was to find somewhere else to spend the night as they wouldn’t be fixing it that day (Friday) and it might have to wait until Monday.

Thank you very much for your views about the appointment. However, we are fully responsible for delays in appointment, when the customer is thick, abusive and dangerous they can realise that they called in a totally different office as we have 200 of them all over the country. We do not have any receptionist secondly, the agent here been questioned was at the property waiting for you all that time was also in that property doing a block viewing 30 mins earlier. So only God knows ( whatever name you may call him ) which address you went and waited whilst the agent kept calling you with no answer, or response even 5 minutes earlier then the appointment time. After consistent tries you finally answered abusing with a language might be coming from your upbringing. The exact words used '' Come down in Tower Hamletts I will Fuck u up!! '' the agent was patient held his calm after frustrating wait for almost an hour hung up for the fear of getting physically assaulted. The agent reacted professionally to an undeserving applicant.
