From the very first day we moved into the flat, we already had issues with Cosway.

After moving in, we noticed that one of the windows in the bedroom had come off the hinges. We also noticed that the en suite toilet was faulty and would repeatedly flush itself.

Immediately we called Cosway and the first response we received was, ¢â‚¬Ëœoh no are you guys already complaining'.

Nevertheless we informed of the issue and the rep said he would sort it out, just put it in writing. We did this several times over the next 3-4 months with absolutely no response.

We experienced many other lies, and problems with Cosway however I will inform all of just one more.

At the end of the first tenancy, Cosway informed that the Landlord had put up the rent. We wrote back asking if this was negotiable and if we could discuss the increase. Cosway Informed that the new price is non negotiable and that was that. We then handed in our notice for this reason. 4 weeks into the notice period, our landlord rang us directly as he had caught wind as to why we submitted our notice. He explained that he had just seen the correspondence and at no point enforced an increase in the rent. Therefore we could only assume that the agent lied against the will of the Landlord and took it upon themselves to increase the rent.

We have dealt with 2 different agents at cosway. The second was slightly better but again, would not respond to our requests and telephone calls.

After our experiences, I spoke to work colleagues, friends and familities¢â‚¬Â¦3 others who had used Cosway also had dreadful experiences.

Even the Landlord himself came to visit us and express his desire to leave cosway but was tied into a contract and could not.

I very strongly recommend that you avoid this letting agent at all cost.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have simply done their job and not lied to us and cheated both the landlord and the tenant. Answered our emails and telephone calls. not increased the rent against the landlords will.

We have a very good team here at Cosway and provide the best possible service to both Landlords and tenants alike. We have an extremely good reputation in Mill Hill, being the longest established agent and are well known in both selling and renting a large majority of properties in the area. Most of our Landlords and Tenants are extremely happy with the service we provide and that is why clients keep coming back again and again.
In regards to Jez's comment on the 16th November, it is a shame that a former colleague of ours Jason Bar-Joseph who was dismissed a couple of months ago remains bitter and has decided to take it upon himself to comment in such an insulting and offensive manner. We will not let a minority of twisted people damage are strong reputation and a complaint has been lodged.
