We used Streetsahead as our letting agent for 3 years. The first 2 years, everything was relatively smooth, especially when Michelle Samuels was there. She was really helpful. When she left, the letting department started to be dissapointing. The worst we felt was since the letting department moved to Crystal Palace. It was very difficult to get hold of anyone by phone. Email was not responded promptly. We had very terrible tenants at our flat for 6 months, they continuously paid rent late. We paid Streetsahead to collect the rent for us, but every single month, we had to call and chase the agency for the late payments, and they had never charged the tenants with late fee, which they should have done so as per tenancy agreement.

The 6 months rent guarantee was a total rubbish. When the tenants didn\'t pay their rent at their fifth month, Streetsahead said that we had to wait for at least 1 month overdue rent. When 1 month was over, Streetsahead said that our 6 months guarantee was expired.

When the tenants finally left, the tenants made some damages in our property. We gave Streetsahead a list of damages, it took them over a month to deal with it. The tenants were very upset and gave us a very aggressive and intimidating phone call. Streetsahead said that the tenants disputed the deductions so the deposit issue had to go to TDS. That was 3 weeks ago. Until now, nobody can give us any information about this deposit issue.

Inventory checks were also double standards. Check - In Inventory was really detailed, but Check- Out Inventory was really loose, puting landlord/lady in a disadvantage position. When we asked them that we would like to have the same company to do the check -in and check-out inventory, Streetsahead said OK. But when the check-out was done, it was done by a different company. So Streetsahead just completely ignored our requests, with no explaination what so ever.

Throughout our dealings with Streetsahead, we found them to be very apologetic and gave hundreds of excuses but didn\'t really solve the issue, nor really care. We thought that using an agency as well known as Streetsahead will give us a peace of mind, the reality was totally the opposite! We will never used this agency again nor recommend it to anyone we know.

Thanks to Janice Smith, We have now received money from the deposit to recover damages left by tenants.
