From the get go the iron burn mark hidden under a rug which had a table on it in the living room we were in for a rough ride with this agency.
When the drawers started falling apart (opened the drawer and it fell off..not just one but 3 drawers done this) we were told there was nothing we could do about it.
The parting shot which was worst of all was being recommended by the agency themselves to "replace any damaged items as it may be cheaper than losing your deposit" which we done with the spare room carpet we were then told "yes, flat is immaculate, you will get the deposit back no problem" for the landlord to overrule this and give us no option but to have him force us to pay £90 (the same price it cost us to replace the carpet) was such a sour taste.
Obviously we could have said no and took it to a small claims court but we were sorely misled throughout this tenancy by the agents from having a massive burn in the living carpet which wasn\'t highlighted to us (they done nothing about this after we pointed it out) to being told we could replace things to then be told that we will be charged anyway.
I will never use them again.
What agent could do to change your mind?
