DO NOT BOTHER. Where do I start… This unprofessional, money grabbing company is only there to rip people off whilst forcing them to live in unacceptable conditions. Before we even moved in, we were shown round by a man who knew absolutely nothing about the house, when asked if WIFI included he just shrugged his shoulders – useless. When we first moved into the house it was dirty, the dishwasher was broken, stuff was left behind by previous tenants, furniture was not put together and the house was poorly built. This broken dishwasher was not fixed for months, even after multiple conversations (and being ignored). Just to add to this, the upstairs shower blocked and this caused water to leak through the ceiling, through a light into the downstairs shower which had leaking battery acid all over the floor Due to health and safety conditions we were technically then limited to 1 shower between 9 people. These 2 showers were then not fixed for 6 months after constant messages and one of our numbers being blocked from contacting them. They then attempted to blame us for the blockage when it was, in fact, due to the poor construction of the building. The battery acid stained the whole bathroom and was never cleaned. Furthermore, one day our pipes in the kitchen completely blocked up meaning we had no access to the dishwasher or the sinks, we later found out that this was due to the builders pouring plaster down the sinks, once again they tried to blame us. When we moved in, we were only given 2 small bins – between 9 of us, clearly not enough. When we requested more bins, they refused which meant we had a build-up of bin bags which caused us to get mice. One day, when there was heavy rain, the ceilings of one of the rooms started leaking through the light, the only way this was fixed was by refusing to pay rent until it was done. This leak was due to the poor construction of the house, this left a mould stain on the ceiling which was due to be painted over. When the painter came, he managed to spill paint all over the floor, bed and rug (which was one of the tenants). These floor stains were then taken out of our deposit even though it was due to the company hired by tenant network. Regarding the deposit, they attempted to take at least 90% of it, which was argued as majority was due to the poor construction (such as a tile which fell through the floor in the kitchen). When we sent the email to the landlord arguing this his reply was extremely unprofessional, belittling us and was very sarcastic. It was a long and hard process just to get less than half our deposits back. They also lied to the deposit protection company stating we agreed with the original amount so the protection was cancelled. When we finally did receive our deposits back, they gave all the money to one tenant. Luckily, we are still all friends, however, this could end in disaster if people had fallen out – another show of how unprofessional they are. We hope this convinces you to STAY AWAY.

Comment on agent fees
Despite being made aware of it at beginning of year - I still feel that a checkout fee for a property is exploitation of students, as it is required.
