"I would highly recommend these estate agents to anyone. Lee, Debola and Dominic were really easy to deal with, and kept me informed every step of the way. I very much appreciated their continued communication, hard work and wise counsel, especially because I was overseas. Lee in particular went the extra mile when he had to deal with the solicitors. I was happy with the team, with the good price obtained in a difficult market and with their infinite patience during the initial marketing period when dealing with extremely uncooperative tenants. Super estate agents!”

I had the exact same experience almost word for word. They were fine up until the landlord wanted to renew with a new agency and then we were considered an inconvenience.

You pay them £360 for the contract. Then £90 if you want to extend it. Every year. Minimum charge for all repairs are £30 per the contract. There's a "check out fee" of £90 in the contract. So yeah, it's a ripoff.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Charged realistic fees and employed staff with some training in dealing with people. Often what they said was technically and legally correct but a conversation with a letting agent should be amicable and not who can get away with what within the boundaries of the law.
