No stars - one is far too generous.
This company is very unprofessional, purposely deceitful, untruthful and rude, in particular the Property Manager *, and the inspector **.
I vacated the property and made sure that I was there when the inspection was carried out by Sarah.
After repeatedly asking if there was anything that would prevent the return of my full deposit I was told no, and in hindsight I should have grabbed the report from her hands to see for myself.
Unbelievablly, a week later I receive a report for deductions -
£104 for cleaning - even though the place was professionally cleaned 'although the flat was clean, there appeared to be some dust underneath the furniture, and the bedframe' - £104 for this apparently!!! A full days work for a cleaner, where in reality it would be an hour at the absolute most.
Oven £55 - Even though I had this cleaned with specific oven cleaning kit, and was spotless. I highly doubt this was actually 'cleaned' again, as it already was when I left. No mention from ** as I stood and watched her , and asked afterwards.
Tidying gardens £60. there is a small courtyard and the only 'tidying' to be done was weeding - however when I moved into the property 18 months ago, the place was not weeded and there was a note on my entry pack to say this would be done. It never was. Yet I am now being charged for it?!
Bulbs £53. For 2 bulbs. One of which was the extractor on the hob, which I don't think I ever turned on. Again, obviously an extremely excessive amount for a couple of quid worth of bulbs that I could have purchased within half an hour and fitted - had Sarah mentioned this at the checkout.
However this is not their style, as you can see, and they have obviously subcontracted an experienced electrician to perform this highly intricate task.
All this, and the troubles I had in this property not even taken into consideration, to at least show at least a hint of fairness towards myself, who always paid on time and looked after the place (all interim inspections confirmed this).
I waited over a month before they fixed the washing machine.
I asked for shower to be fixed repeatedly and it never was.
Boiler constantly packing in, when clearly a new boiler was required.
Light fixtures damaged from the property above having a loud party - asked repeatedly for these to be repaired but never were.
A real problem with fles - halfheartedly dealt with after many complaints.
Rodent and vermin issues - smell of dead rats in the bathroom, and rats chewing through kitchen appliance hoses.
All of this, dealt with poorly.
The main criticism is the clear money making scheming of this company, which I am not surprised to see similar reviews left by disgruntled tenants.
Think twice before letting one of their properties.
