We went through months of calls and emails with customer service and management due to being insulted in our own home by the supposed "expert" estate agent Richard, whom also put in my advert we were located by a certain park which is 3 miles away! He had copied and pasted from previous adverts! He is never available to talk to as always on voicemail, but will text you if he needs you to action something ie the advert is ready just approve it, but didn't text to say your valuation is ready and that we needed to review that and could then decide not to proceed. He also pressures you into taking out Purple Bricks own energy valuation as you cannot be live with an advert without it, well so he said! If you already have one but dont realise they will take the money off you which takes ages to get refunded! I had to direct an online customer support team through the chat function the details we wanted in the advert and key features! The "estate agents" advice and to us and others is I can only help you if you lower the price! Due to all that went on Debbie in customer service advised us to put the property on a break, please bear in mind we weren't on the market for more than 13 days, it took Purple bricks from start to finish over 2 months to respond to our complaints where they advised us the estate agent wasn't being rude he was joking and discredited all our other complaints , they even try and use tricks to show you reviewed something on your online account or you opened and email but they cannot provide proof of this and show you how your IP address proves this! they then offered a measly £125 off the bill which we did not accept. They are now chasing for payment of £1448.00. for a property removed from them within 13 days, they stated that if you instruct them you waiver your 2 weeks cooling off fee, which is not made clear to you by anyone until its too late! They will take your money and offer you zero service, they offer ridiculous amounts off to people to try and stop bad reviews but so you still have to pay them as much as possible. They remove complaints of their facebook account too! This company is not to be trusted, please stick with the guys on the high street, it's in their interest to sell your home for the best price! Once these guys have your agreement they are paid so there is zero incentive to them if your property sells or not!
