* EDIT - Since this situation happened I have been happy with the response from Steve and believe this was an unfortunate first impression of the organisation from an incident that doesn't appear to be something often. And in turn would use Open House in the future.


We gave this company 3 dates to view a property... they told us to come on the Saturday at 11am, which we did. When they were late we rang, to be told the person was on there way. We rang back again 10 minutes later to be told they would call us back. Another 5 minutes and we were rang and told the property had been sold... no one rang us, emailed us, we were told wrong information through and through. Steve the owner apologised saying we must have slipped through the net as he had 5 other people to ring. If they cannot cope with texting or emailing 6 people then I dred to think how organised they would be selling a house.
Do not use this shambles of a company.

I can confirm that Steve from the Open House has responded sufficiently and I have been happy with the follow up in sorting this problem.

Hi Alice, thanks for leaving feedback it’s greatly appreciated any feedback is a gift good or bad. On this occasion I have to hold my hands up personally and I apologise. It was my fault your were not contacted that the property had sold. When taking your initial details I saved it into the wrong place. Therefore when the property sold your details were not on the list of people to contact. I have since made changes to our procedures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. If you would like to contact me I can discuss suitable compensation for the time you wasted this morning due to my personal error. Once again please accept my apologies for my mistake.
