TBH if I could leave a 0 star review I would. We've been letting a house off Farrell Heyworth for just over 4 weeks.
Upon viewing the fencing was damaged and had missing panels. Before we put in an application we were assured that these panels would be replace. As we have a young daughter and my wife suffers from agoraphobia we made it clear at the time that we would only go through with the application because of this assurance.
8 weeks on from making the initial application and this still hasn't been sorted. We've tried making phone calls (probably around 20 calls, but only 2/3 times have they answered) emails and reporting on the app. We've constantly and consistently been fobbed off by the person managing the let and have been told conflicting excuses from the point of signing the tenancy agreement when we were told that they were just waiting for us to move in and would then fit the panels straight away. A week later and nothing so upon speaking to Farrell Heyworth we were then told that the landlord was looking for quotes, which doesn't fit with what we'd previously been told. Every time since then that we've spoke to Farrell Heyworth we've been fobbed off with the same excuse of the landlord still seeking quotes and they'll chase it up, which they never do. Fence panels are readily available so it doesn't take months for them to be sourced.
Today we arrived home to find that somebody had been in our garden, through the missing panels and had rooted through our washing etc. If the panels had been replaced within a reasonable time this wouldn't have happened!!!
We've also had to use some of our bedsheets to try and cover the missing panels to give us some sort of privacy and security which has meant us ruining them, another thing which we shouldn't have to do.
Overall our experience of Farrell Heyworth has been a very poor one, their customer service is practically none existent and if you can get through to speakl to somebody then you are just fobbed off with poor excuses. If we knew 2 months ago that the fencing still wouldn't have been sorted out we wouldn't have made an application or agreed to let the house.
