I rented a cottage from Donald Ross at £1000 PM- a very high rent for the area. Despite this
they utterly lacked the basic level of professionalism and service that one would expect as standard in the UK.
The cottage was filthy beyond words and despite videos showing the black mounds of sewage as big as rats in the drains- stench and unclean surfaces throughout-broken heating, unsafe electrics- they wrote the cottage was immaculate- I was out of pocket £200 and one week of my time in cleaning.
They gave the council the wrong move in date to extract more money from me, they also did not give the deposit back directly at all and gave the Scottish letting scheme the wrong address -different from my lease - to make it very difficult for me to get my deposit back- which I did by showing the Government agencies in both cases, how fraudulent Donald Ross's submitted documents were and that they did not reflect what I had on my lease.
Total scum.
