To whoever is reading this - I did not include any full names in this review because even though Purplebricks has provided us (tenants) with the worst customer service and professionalism, I do not wish to destroy people's lives.
Since we moved in, we had a lovely agent called Kerry who has always picked up the phone and dealt with our issues straight away. Then few months ago, we have been told she has left from one day to another which I do not fully believe but whatever.
Then we one day got email, saying that the office in Leeds is moving somewhere and our deposit is fine. So we wanted to call to someone to talk about this as we wanted to know more. We got through to the normal office and they gave us two new numbers to call, being the new office. So we did that. And for less than two weeks I have been trying to get in touch with the new office, to find out what is going on and also who is our new agent. No answer, just voicemail to be left which we did every time. So I got in touch with my landlords, informing them that we cannot get in touch with the agency, and if this was emergency they would not know about it.
Landlords couldn't get in touch with the agency either which resulted in landlords telling us that they are considering terminating contract with them and therefore us because they don't want to be paying money to an agency which doesn't pick up the phone for almost two weeks - this was completely understandable but it also meant we would have to leave our home because of the incompetence of this agency.
I slapped this on twitter because I wanted to warn other people deciding whether or not to go with this agency and they all of a sudden contacted me and within few days I have been contacted by our new property agent. I told him about everything and he said he will be getting in touch with the landlords to sort things out.
To no surprise, I have been trying to contact him since last Friday and today is Friday and I have heard nothing. The phone rings and then goes to voicemail. The same applies to the landlords, no one is picking up the phone to them again either.
Once again slapped this on twitter, and once again got a message saying someone will be in touch with me as soon as possible. At this point I am not interested in what they have to say and I am just going to wait what the landlords want to do. I think this is the WORST agency I ever came across. The feeling of insecurity, the thought that you have phone numbers but no one gives a monkey to pick their phone up. Knowing that people do not take it seriously enough that me and my partner might have to leave our home because of THEIR mess up (trying to use nice language here, despite my frustration and anger). They only care when you put it on the social media and everyone has access to it. These reviews are helpful but you are more likely to see reviews on twitter than go and search reviews elsewhere so thats why they respond so fast on their social media. They don't actually care.
In addition to this, they told our landlords they moved the office to Manchester and they told us they moved their office to Birmingham.
I just really wouldn't recommend anyone going with this agency because some office move throws their professionalism and customer service so off the rail, it can literally ruin your tenancy agreement with landlords and get you to lose your home.
I would also strongly recommend any landlords and tenants to read all the tweets on their twitter from other twitter because there are landlords having issues with them and tenants not getting their deposits back either.

Whatever they charge the landlords (I am a tenant), I would say none of it is worth the money because we didn't get any help from the agency for almost a month basically.
