We were happy with the letting process, Misty was kind and enthusiastic. We were surprised at the amount of fees charged to the tenants to move into the property.

When it came to moving out of the property we were then charged an extortionate £125 plus VAT (£150 in total) for the checkout report too. This fee had never been agreed (although we did agree to checkout fee) and is much higher than the quotes we have found online. When we requested an invoice we were told that tit would take 6 weeks! Not very open about the whole process and the fees charged were much higher than we have had to pay elsewhere. We weren\'t even supplied with a copy of the check out report that we spent £125 on!

I would recommend avoiding as a tenant and using Keating estates.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could be open and transparent about the fees charged at the outset.

I’m glad to hear that Misty was helpful at the start of your search, but disappointed to read your other comments.

All of our fees are broken down and explained on the application form that you completed and signed when you made your application to rent the property. We are 100% transparent about the costs involved and we make this clear to tenants before they hand over any money or make any commitment. As with most things, different companies have different charges, but in the vast majority of cases tenants report that they have been very satisfied when renting through us, and there is no question about our openness in this regard (in fact we publish our application form on our website, so all of the associated costs are available to see before booking any viewings with us).

In respect of the check-out fee, the £125+VAT was detailed on the application form that you signed before moving in to the property, and we have now provided you with a copy of this signed document to refresh your memory. We have also forwarded you a copy of the report and agreed to forward you the suppliers invoice upon receipt (we are invoiced by the supplier monthly, hence why we cannot forward this to you immediately).
