Bought our house through the Crowthorne branch. While staff always friendly and helpful, found that they did not respond to queries when asked e.g. asked where the washing machine was in the property as did not remember seeing it/where not shown. They said that they would check with vendor and get back to us but never did and I asked more than once! Ended up finding out it was integrated through our/vendors\' solicitor not long before exchange. The fact that they have dedicated move department did not seem obvious to us!
Also found them difficult to deal with during negotiations - I know that estate agents want to get the best for their client but felt that they were trying to get us to raise our offer before even asking the vendors. On both occasions that we put in an offer there was always someone else who wanted to view the property for the first time and was \'very interested\' or a \'cash buyer\'....
