They seem nice, but they are super dishonest and lie perpetually. It started from the first meeting. Yasmin Husna lied and quoted around £860 for the deposit, but when I went to sign the contract a few days later Ash and Aidan had increased it to £1100. The apartment was filthy when I arrived. There was dust everywhere, trash under the bed, a pile of six or seven trash bags in the kitchen, and filth all over the floor. I literally spent the entire first weekend cleaning the apartment. Ron was apparently shocked by this because they clean all the apartments regularly (another lie). They left a mattress in the hallway for over a month because they were using my apartment for storage apparently. They lied and said it would only be there for a weekend. When I checked out is when they took the dishonesty to breathtaking levels. I have multiple emails and text messages that confirmed everything with the apartment was great, I would get my deposit back, they just needed a week or two to get everything together. That was four months ago. They never paid back my deposit. They quickly stopped answering emails. Aidan blocked my phone number. Ash and Aidan specifically instruct their staff not to give out their phone numbers. Ash apparently takes two lunches a day. I have called in the morning when he was out at an early lunch and then discovered he was also taking a late lunch when I called back in the afternoon. At this point the office no longer answers the phone when I call because they know my phone number. The lies Ash, Aidan, and Yasmin have told me so far is that they lost control of their bank account because they had too much money, then they could use the account, but even though they had too much money, they needed time to pay back fifteen deposits, so I had to wait my turn, then they still could not use the account because they were waiting for a certificate, then they could not distribute deposits because there is only one person who can do that and that person was conveniently on vacation (even though Ash and Aidan can take money, Yasmin and Aidan even had me put money in Aidan's personal account once), and finally Yasmin promised that she would look into why I had not received my deposit in four months (you guessed it, she lied).
The rent was £800, the fee was like £400, I stayed there for three months, and the deposit was £1100, which they have refused to pay back. So note that their fee is effectively £1500. I strongly recommend you avoid them at all costs.
You cannot believe anything they say. They perpetually lie. They are dishonest and are completely without honor. I wish I had never met them. All in all working with them was a thoroughly miserable experience.
Also note that the positive reviews here are all strangely similar in their length, sentence structure, and content. Considering how often and easily they lie, take that in mind when seeing the number of positive reviews.
Comment on agent fees
Considering it was effectively £500 a month, I think they are astronomical considering how little service they provide.
