this was for student accomodation, communication was very poor, delays of information regarding original property being un servicable, meant rushed second choice. this property needed a full professional clean and changes to furniture, as a furnished property. after more delays in communication, we were advised property was ready to move into. not being local we accepted their word, upon arrival, of first resident, we found that the agent had not collected the deposit form all student parties. the contract had not been forwarded to all 4 occupants in advance for their perusal. upon arriving at the property the key was a poor fit, . the propety had not been cleaned or arranged as agreed. If the landlord had advised it was done, the agent had clearly not been to look around. to check. this , two days before the start of university term. leaving no time for the students to consider an alternative. handed over keys saying all dealings are now to be with landlord.
