Appalling!
The initial meeting with agent one was ok as he was friendly but new at the job. Showed us a few flats til we decided on one we liked. Went to sort the paper work out, signed and paid deposit. Got a call later that day saying we needed to return to the office as the newbie gent gave us the wrong form to fill out and we needed to fill out a new one so that we wouldn't be charged. That should have been the first warning to run away - the fact that we would have been charged for thier mistake. Upon pointing this out their reply was that it was company policy.
During the tenancy they were unhelpful and ignorant when it came to sorting out problems with the flat such as the heating let alone broken door handles and keys for the postbox.
When it came to the end of the tenancy the landlord was very, very adamant upon keeping the deposit because the carpets weren't cleaned. Well after 4 years of not cleaning the carpet then of course it wouldn't be brand new! Hunters were no help as they replied it's between us and the landlord and that they would only release the deposit when both parties agree. Went to speak to the manager about this and she was not only unhelpful but rude, cutting me short because she "Was busy with other customers".
Never ever again! Stay far away from Manchester City Centre (Deansgate) Hunters!!!
