Fifteen months ago our then factor, without our knowledge, permission or approval, sold us overnight to Trinity Factoring Services (TFS) . The sell on included handing over our balance of about £7000 to a firm of which we had absolutely no knowledge.
Our first meeting with our new TFS property manager was not until eight months later, one of many times TFS completely disregarded their own conditions, and indeed then and thereafter increasing stress and concern was caused due to authoritarian and dismissive actions.
When we were sold on we had two weather worsening maintenance items outstanding, a further four minor items were added within nine months, when we with a virtual unanimous decision dismissed TFS after fourteen months not a single item had been dealt with although they claim to have a list of approved contractors.
We have always had a healthy balance and now nearly two months after dismissing TFS we have had absolutely no detailed information from them.
Our most recent contact at TFS did not deny we had received a dreadful service. I now invite TFS to reply to this review and point out any inaccuracy.
Comment on agent fees
Contrary to agreement at handover after 8 months factoring fees increased by 50%

I'm sorry this has taken rather longer than I expected to investigate - we were doing a lot more work for you than the review suggests. It's common for businesses to be sold without the clients being advised in advance and yes, your previous factor carefully and properly entrusted us with your funds which in turn we have passed on to your new factors; a significantly larger sum in fact. With the owners not knowing how this sum had been amassed, we could not simply spend it without first some investigation. There's a lot more to this case than meets the eye - for example owners said they did not want an early meeting in the autumn; then the meeting we arranged for 15 February was postponed at owners' request. Our representative was on site repeatedly sorting out repair issues; but also resolving problems like certain owners refusing access to cleaners and to contractors whom we had invited to quote for works. It was difficult for us to obtain instructions at the meetings which were held because many owners changed their minds after decisions were made - we resorted to ballots to move several matters on. And of course as factors and property managers we represented all the owners - we cannot act on instructions of any one individual. All in all our period in office at Broadhaven was not without its challenges for us and clearly it was not to the reviewer's liking. We apologise for any issue any owner still feels was not satisfactory and wish you well with your new factors. I would add that we are happy to meet on site if the owners feel further discussion on any aspect of this would be helpful.
